Neurofeedback is a form of biofeedback therapy that involves teaching the brain how to function with more efficiency. For this treatment, sensors are placed on the patient’s scalp to evaluate brain wave activity, which is revealed on a real-time sound or video display.

The re-training and re-learning process is gradual. Here, the brain is observed in action, noting its improvements while correcting irregular patterns to more appropriate ones. For better monitoring, we utilize the most commonly used system, which is EEG neurofeedback, because it can effectively keep track of electrical brain activity.

Here at Achievement & Wellness Center, we use neurofeedback therapy to address a wide spectrum of brain dysregulations and their symptoms:

  • Autism spectrum disorder
  • Bipolar disorder
